The XIII Jornadas CERES conference held at the offices of the Spanish Royal Mint (FNMT-RCM) in Madrid were a great success, with over 500 attendees, 50 speakers, 9 roundtables and 13 presentations.
Jaime Sánchez Revenga (Chairman and Managing Director of the Spanish Royal Mint), Virginia Moreno ( Managing Director of New Technologies and Innovation at Leganés City Council) and Felipe Amores (IT Systems Manager at the Royal Spanish Mint), closed a conference that had generated much debate on the topics about digital certification, electronic signature and secure identification.
Safelayer put forward its view on global trends in the new identification and electronic signing services. Enrique Crespo, Safelayer's professional services manager, spoke on topics including the evolution of trusted identity services, the change in the user experience on mobiles and in the cloud, and the new standards for the eIDAS trust services. He described the practical cases of the European TSPs LVRTC (Latvijas Valsts Radio un Televizijas Centrs Television Centre) and IZENPE (a provider of certification services), who use Safelayer's eIDAS TrustedX platform to implement their identity solutions.
Jornadas CERES attracted representatives from the public sector who, alongside technology manufacturers and other companies in the sector, presented their experiences and latest developments in e-administration deployments.
