Security services and the PKI infrastructure of the Spanish Ministry of Defense

With more than 600,000 certificates issued since it was set up, Safelayer's KeyOne PKI supports the Spanish Ministry Of Defense on a daily basis as it certificates are used by Ministry staff for tasks including smartcard logon, authenticating in internal systems, signing documents, and signing and encrypting emails. The infrastructure also protects the Ministry's network devices and SSL servers.

The Ministry of Defense unifies the provision of security services to its applications using Safelayer's TrustedX technology. TrustedX provides unified signature, validation and encryption services to the functional applications progressively integrated into the platform.

Safelayer has been invited to talk about its close collaboration with the Spanish Ministry of Defense at NATO’s NITEC conference.
