Realtech, a multinational company specialising in technology consultancy and development of software solutions, has chosen Safelayer's TrustedX platform for integration with SAP NetWeaver environments.
Realtech has chosen this platform for TrustedX's capacity to simplify development and maintenance of digital signature projects in multiple component environments, such as the SAP environment.
Safelayer Secure Communications, the leading Spanish company in PKI digital identity security solutions has based the development of the TrustedX platform on SOA architecture and web services. The aim of the platform is to simplify the use of PKI security services for digital signature, data protection and, generally, any type of digital identity management. According to Adrián Moure, Vice-President of Safelayer "TrustedX provides high product versatility, enabling the extension of PKI solutions to an already existing infrastructure, and is very unintrusive".
With this integration, TrustedX is aimed at companies that use SAP and wish to implement or extend digital signature solutions integrated with business processes.
TrustedX makes it easier to implement digital signature management, by means of a trusted service platform that allows the delegation of signature, validation, ciphering and custody functions, and especially, of centralised policies to be applied in the company. This tool simplifies the verification of data within SAP business processes, such as: orders, invoices, dispatch notes or electronic records.
The functionality of this platform is divided into five groups that cover basic security services: object and entity management, authentication services, authorisation and access control of registered entities, digital signature, non-repudiation, data protection and password management.
Realtech has developed the integration of TrustedX with SAP NetWeaver transparently, by means of its certified SSF secure store and forward - interface. The functionalities of this interface allow the electronic use of external signature and document encrypting systems with the existing business processes on the SAP platform. Said functionalities, together with the network services published in Safelayer's TrustedX have been swiftly implemented in SAP processes.
