With the intention of providing participants with a global overview of the e-DNI as a driving force of the Information Society, the conference will explore the opportunities offered in areas such as commercial identification and contracting, explaining how organisations and the Administration should approach the arrival of the new identity document and resolving any doubts concerning its implementation in the different administrative segments.
The conference, sponsored by Safelayer with the collaboration of the Spanish Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade, is addressed to New Technology professionals, computer engineers, computer application managers, and security and human resources managers working for local, autonomous and national administrations, public organisations, education centres, universities, etc.
The Spanish General Secretary for Public Administration, Da. Consuelo Sánchez Naranjo, will be giving the opening conference "The Mission of the Electronic ID Card as a Driving Force of the Information Society and Electronic Administration".
Adrián Moure, Executive Vice President at Safelayer and President of the Security Committee and Treasurer of ASIMELEC, will be in charge of presenting and closing the session.
Safelayer will play an active role during the conference. Firstly, Manuel Torres, Director of Professional Services at Safelayer, will take part in the Round Table "Opportunities Surrounding the Launch of the Electronic ID Card", which will discuss the opportunities and challenges that the e-DNI may present in coming years.
Meanwhile, Jordi Buch, Product Marketing Manager at Safelayer, will give his presentation "Integration Strategy And Security And Trust Services", which will explain the strategic guidelines for integrating security and trust mechanisms in business processes and information systems.
The highlight of the conference will be the presentation "The DNI as a Driving Force for New Technologies in Businesses" by Mr. David Cierco, Director General for the Information Society.
