Alongside its partner Bull, the company specialising in PKI technology for identification, electronic signature and data protection will be presenting its solutions, which have been endorsed with the highest security software development certifications and comply with the maximum requirements for military and Defence environments, including NATO.
This year, Safelayer, a company leader in the market of PKI security for digital identification and electronic signature, will take part in the sixth Expo dedicated to ICT Solutions Applied to the Public Sector, set to be held from 27-29 March in Brasilia.
Alongside its partner Bull, the company will present its KeyOne solutions based on Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), which comply with the highest security requirements for operating under the NATO security and certification policies and have been endorsed with the highest software development certification, the Common Criteria EAL4+, the minimum level required for military environments.
All of this has made Safelayer one of the leading global suppliers of PKI technology. Its solutions, with what is known as "military level" recognition, are present in the most important PKI projects underway in Europe, including the project for securing NATO’s e-mail, the Spanish electronic ID card and passport, Onomatopic or European citizen card, and projects undertaken by the Portuguese government and Ministries of Justice and Agriculture. Safelayer has also established its presence in Latin America, having implemented its technology through its partners in a number of countries.
During the ICT Expo, Safelayer will present its TrustedX trusted services platform, which includes a set of global and standardised security services (authentication, authorisation, electronic signature and data protection) as web services.
Based on Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), TrustedX resolves the main problem of integrating PKI technology into organisations’ technology structures, in what the company calls ETI (Enterprise Trust Integration). This integration technology provides the services required for managing digital identities in the simplest, most effective manner within Web environments and without having to "invade" organisations’ information infrastructures, which can apply their own security policy with different trust levels.
The ICT Expo is a space for exhibitions, debates and exchanging ideas within a context of modernisation and application of information technologies in the Public Administration. It is considered one of the most important ICT industry events in Brazil’s public sector.
