ISO 9001 regulations are international rules and guidelines for managing quality systems. Since their initial publication in 1987, they have achieved global recognition as the basis for establishing quality management systems.
Thus, Safelayer has obtained the Company Registration Certificate, not only for its Security Software Design and Development processes, but also for its Professional Consultancy and Training Services in Public Key Infrastructures.

In 2006, Safelayer achieved level 3 of the ISO 15504 (SPICE) standard, which provides a solid basis on which to evaluate and improve quality systems in relevant software production, operation management, product maintenance and technical support processes. This methodology also enables all relevant business processes of a software development company to be assessed and improved. Furthermore, level 3 is the highest level that has ever been granted in Spain, making it the first Spanish company leader in PKI security technology to be certified on the basis of the standard awarded by AENOR, and achieved through the PROFIT Project of the Spanish Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade.
